Join us for our annual Legal & Policy Seminar and kick-off the holiday season with VAHCDO!
This seminar is a must for Housing Authority leaders, municipal community development officials, and attorneys involved with housing and community development issues.
The seminar will be held at the Richmond OMNI on November 30 - December 1, 2017. As in years past, attorneys will earn CLE credits; previous annual seminars have been awarded up to 5.0 credit hours by the Virginia Mandatory Continuing Legal Education Board of the Virginia State Bar. In addition to a briefing on proposed legislative activity, we will hear about relevant court cases from around the country, as well as issues with expanding and preserving affordable housing opportunities.
Our invited speakers include Adrianne Todman, NAHRO; Lisa Walker, HDLI; Rod Solomon, Hawkins Delafield & Wood LLP; Meghan Glasheen, Reno & Cavanaugh; Joshua Ogburn, UVA; and others. Speakers will provide informative updates on current legal topics and emerging issues that affect our industry. There will be plenty of time for networking and socializing with your industry peers, as well.
We will begin with a welcoming reception on Thursday evening. Following dinner, we are honored to have Adrianne Todman, CEO of NAHRO, who will give her insights from the national battle in our nation's capital, Friday starts with a full breakfast followed by a half day of sessions. We look forward to your attendance and participation!
